MCP connector
Use TemplateBreaker in your AI app.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or your own agent, and humanize text without leaving the chat.
Server URL
https://www.templatebreaker.com/api/mcpStreamable HTTP. Sign in with OAuth, or send an API key as a bearer token.
What you need
- A TemplateBreaker account.
- Prepaid API credit, added under Settings, API in the app. Each run is paid from it.
- To connect an app by signing in, you must be the owner or an admin of your workspace.
Connect
Claude
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the server URL and choose Add.
- Choose Connect, sign in to TemplateBreaker, and choose Approve.
ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps. Turn on Developer mode under Advanced if you do not see Create.
- Choose Create, paste the server URL, and pick OAuth.
- Sign in to TemplateBreaker and choose Approve.
Claude Code, Grok, Cursor and other apps
- Create an API key under Settings, API in the app.
- Add the server URL to your app and send the key as a bearer token: Authorization: Bearer tbk_...
Tools
- humanize
- Rewrites text so it reads like a person wrote it, keeping the meaning, tone and reading level. Up to 5,000 words per call. $0.60 per 1,000 words, 100-word minimum.
- analyze
- Lists what in a text reads as templated, with a plain fix for each. It does not rewrite anything. $0.01 per 1,000 words, 100-word minimum.
- get_balance
- Shows your API credit balance and this month's spend. Free.
Disconnect and privacy
Connecting by sign-in adds a key named after the app, such as "Claude (connected app)", under Settings, API. Delete that key to disconnect the app. You can also remove the connector in the app itself.
